In order to rapidly provide you with an accurate quotation we would appreciate as much detailed information as possible concerning your requirements. The more complete the information, the faster we can respond to your request.

The following is the type of information we need to prepare a quotation. Not all of the information below applies to every shape, but please provide as much information as possible. Standard tolerances will apply where exceptions are not requested.

1. Drawing or sketch of shape, with complete dimensions and tolerance.
   (if available, an engineering drawing is best).
   
2. Length with tolerances.
   
3. Material to be used:

   a. Type – Cold Rolled, Hot Rolled, Galvanized, etc.

   b. Special requirements – Chemistry, carbon, tensile, etc.

4. Thickness, with tolerance.
   
5. Quality requirements:

   a. Type of end condition desired (mill length, cut, deburred)

   b. I.D. tolerances (flash in, flash controlled .005”, flash controlled .010”)

   c. Finish requirements and your further processing (paint, galvanized, plated etc.)

   d. Straightness

   e. Twist

6. Corner radii
   
7. Fabrication of part by you.
   
8. Special packaging or shipping/receiving requirements.
   
9. End use of part.
   
10. With whom should we communicate for clarification of data.
