Welded Steel Tubing Products Inquiry Information

In order to rapidly provide you with an accurate tubing quotation we would appreciate as much detailed information as possible concerning your requirements. The more complete the information, the faster we can respond to your request.

The following is the type of information we need to prepare a quotation. Not all of the information below applies to every application, but please provide as much information as possible. Standard ASTM tolerances will apply where exceptions are not requested.

1. Outside diameter, type of shape.
   
2. Thickness, with tolerance.
   
3. Length, with tolerance.

   a. Standard mill length tolerance +2.0”/-.000”

   b. Standard cut length tolerance +/- 1/32”

4. Material to be used:

   a. Type – Cold Rolled, Hot Rolled, Galvanized, etc.

   b. Special requirements – Chemistry, carbon, tensile, etc.

5. Quality requirements:

   a. Type of end condition desired (mill length, cut, deburred)

   b. I.D. tolerances (flash in, flash controlled .005”, flash controlled .010”)

   c. Finish requirements and your further processing (paint, galvanized, plated etc.)

   d. Straightness

   e. Twist

   f. Corner radii

6. Fabrication of part by you (bending, flaring, punching, etc.)
   
7. Special packaging or shipping/receiving requirements.
   
8. End use of part.
   
9. With whom should we communicate for clarification of data.
